Marc Sellarès is a fireman and now artist who participated in the suppression of a wildfire that took place in July 2015 in the village of Sant Salvador de Guardiola, in Catalonia.
Devastaded by the loss of over 1,200 hectares of forest and to honour the ravaged forest, Sellarès decided to transform 1,293 charred trees into black crosses, coinciding with the exact number of hectares affected.
Today, the artist put together the last cross.
